Christ’s Resurrection is the fulfilment of the promises both of the Old
Testament and of Jesus himself during his earthly life.⁵²¹ The phrase
“in accordance with the Scriptures”⁵²² indicates that
Christ’s Resurrection fulfilled these predictions.
