Tú no eres un Dios que ama la maldad; ningún impío será tu huésped,

y destruyes a los mentirosos. ¡Al hombre sanguinario y traicionero lo abomina el Señor! Pero yo, por tu inmensa bondad, llego hasta tu Casa, y me postro ante tu santo Templo con profundo temor.

¿Cómo te atreves a pregonar mis mandamientos
y a mencionar mi alianza con tu boca,
tú, que aborreces toda enseñanza y te despreocupas de mis palabras? Si ves a un ladrón, tratas de emularlo; haces causa común con los adúlteros;
hablas mal sin ningún reparo y tramas engaños con tu lengua. Te sientas a conversar contra tu hermano, deshonras al hijo de tu propia madre.
Haces esto, ¿y yo me voy a callar? ¿Piensas acaso que soy como tú? Te acusaré y te argüiré cara a cara. Entiendan bien esto, los que olvidan a Dios, no sea que yo los destruya sin remedio.
El que ofrece sacrificios de alabanza, me honra de verdad; y al que va por el buen camino, le haré gustar la salvación de Dios.”

Yo te glorifico, Señor, porque tú me libraste y no quisiste que mis enemigos se rieran de mí.
Tú, Señor, me levantaste del Abismo y me hiciste revivir, cuando estaba entre los que bajan al sepulcro.
Canten al Señor, sus fieles; den gracias a su santo Nombre,
porque su enojo dura un instante, y su bondad, toda la vida: si por la noche se derraman lágrimas, por la mañana renace la alegría.
«Escucha, Señor, ten piedad de mí; ven a ayudarme, Señor.»

For his anger lasts but a moment; a lifetime, his good will.
At nightfall, weeping enters in, but with the dawn, rejoicing. Hear, O LORD, and have pity on me; O LORD, be my helper.”
You changed my mourning into dancing; O LORD, my God, forever will I give you thanks.

Bendeciré al Señor en todo tiempo, su alabanza estará siempre en mis labios.
Mi alma se gloría en el Señor: que lo oigan los humildes y se alegren. Glorifiquen conmigo al Señor, alabemos su Nombre todos juntos.
Busqué al Señor: El me respondió y me libró de todos mis temores. Miren hacia El y quedarán resplandecientes, y sus rostros no se avergonzarán.
Este pobre hombre invocó al Señor: El lo escuchó y lo salvó de sus angustias. El Ángel del Señor acampa en torno de sus fieles, y los libra.
¡Gusten y vean qué bueno es el Señor! ¡Felices los que en El se refugian!

I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall be ever in my mouth.
Let my soul glory in the LORD; the lowly will hear me and be glad. Glorify the LORD with me, let us together extol his name.
I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Look to him that you may be radiant with joy, and your faces may not blush with shame.
When the poor one called out, the LORD heard, and from all his distress he saved him. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Taste and see how good the LORD is; blessed the man who takes refuge in him.
