I saw a bright star shining That pointed to the cradle of my King, And in the calm, mysterious night It seemed to turn to me. Then I heard the delightful voice Of the Angel saying to me: “Recollect yourself; it is in your soul That the mystery has come to be. Jesus, the Father’s splendor, Has taken flesh within you. Embrace your Beloved With the Virgin Mother He is yours.”
