We must not lose the inner impulse of confidence and faith in a world that is in apostasy. In a way, this must give even more value to the momentum of faith than each of us manages. There is only one thing that depend on you: it is your inner attitude. If you hold your soul in the light of God, you are a living stone of the Church. The transformation of the Church you can accomplish, it is in your heart. If each of us is a small stone of light in the current world, the city of Jerusalem is already built inside your heart. From the immediate context in which you can have an influence, there is a ray that departs. So you stay there, not without suffering – it is impossible when you love God not to suffer by seeing the current state of the world -, but in peace, a deep peace, a peace which is a worship, and an answer made to God to the negations that oppose him in the world. You told him “yes” in your heart; This “yes” may have cost you a lot of uprooting, upheavel; You tried to be faithful, not without miseries, but this “yes” that you said, that you did not denounce, it is very large. And the angels in heaven, who see the world as it is, do not only see what the press and the means of communication say, that kneel in front of this world; They see something more mysterious, deeper. You have to keep peace.
