Our Lord came to find out what is lost … He leaves the sheep who are safe in the fold to run after the one who has wandered away … let’s do like him, and since our prayers are a force, that they are certain to obtain what they ask, let’s fly, by our prayers, to the recue of sinners. Through our prayeres we can do the work for which our divine spouse came to earth … Those who are already dedicated to the apostolic lifeshould pray for the conversion of sinners, since prayer is almost the only powerful, extended way, that we have to do them good, to help our Spouse in His work , to save his children, to draw from a mortal peril those souls He loves so passionately, and that he has us by His Gospel to love as he loves them! … And if we are dedicated to the apostolate, our apostolate will only be fruitful if we pray for those we want to convert, because Our Lord gives only to the one who asks, only opens up to those who knock… God puts good Words on our lips, good inspirations in our hearts, good will in the souls of those to whom we are addressing, the grace of God is necessary, and, to receive it, we must ask … So, whatever our kind of life, let us pray much for the conversion of sinners since it is for them especially that Our Lord works, suffers and prays … Let us pray every day with all our hearts for the salvation and sanctification of these lost but beloved children of Our Lord, so that they do not perish, but are happy; Let us pray every day for them, at length and with all our soul, so that the heart of Our Lord is consoled by their conversion and rejoiced by their salvation …
