Go to holy communion whenever God’s goodness allows you. – But I have no desire. – Oh ! No matter, don’t miss going. It is God who calls you. There is no more effective remedy against the diseases of our souls. This is where we must go to be strengthened; This is where you have to go and say your difficulties, because this is the real doctor who knows suitable remedies; This is where you have to study love, mutual support, cordiality, the example of the neighbor, one and all the other virtues that are necessary to us. So go my daughters, when Jesus Christ calls you there, and do not look if you are carried there by a felt desire, because your enemy will try with all its power to prevent you from approaching it, in order to frustrate you with the graces that God wants to give you to bring you into the practice of the divine virtues of his son.
