I have not sold what is perishable, When I found the treasure in the field; My enemy stole it And in exchange he gave me that of which I can be stripped. You who are the celestial treasure, I beg you with all my heart; Give me the wisdom to place my treasure in heaven, And to keep on high the thoughts of my heart. Treasure which by the night thief Is not taken away in secret, But is kept with sure vigilance, Following your radiant command.
